Munster 23-24 Cardiff Blues

OK it's almost official - Cardiff Blues are on the up! What a great victory tonight away against Munster. Next weeks friday night match home to Glasgow is starting to look like one heck of a battle and a further test to see if this Blues team are finally (god knows it's been a long wait) going to have a great season. Also they should get a pretty good crowd for this one.

Apart from the fact that I obviously want the Blues to have a great season - if they do and start filling the Arms Park then surely this would do the prospect of ambitious redevelopment of the stadium etc no harm at all!

So that's a great start to the Cardiff sporting weekend I wonder if Cardiff City can keep it going away to Norwich - how about a Rickie Lambert hat-trick on his debut!!

Hopefully a good crowd at CAP this Friday for the huge game v Glasgow.
First game of the season that's not on TV and kids get in for a quid: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/cardiffblu ... emref=1407

Huge Cardiff game on Friday. It is a nice feeling to have big games back at CAP.

Paul,

Do mind if I post the "Official Cardiff FC Relegation Thread (Championship)" here rather than making it too obvious elsewhere? :?

Once I bothered to listen to CFC matches, but Tuesday now reserved for enjoyment.

Fair Comment Zach - And after tonight it sure is looking that way!! I always naively and blindly hope that things will get better  but this season is looking pretty grim and seemingly with little light at the end of the tunnel! Still I'll be there on Saturday when everything will click into place and our season will start in earnest!! ;) and the pig fly past should be good also!

I think Trollope is out of his depth. He was Chris Coleman's cone monkey and has no idea what he's doing now he's in charge.

Cardiff go 3/3 in a hugely entertaining game in front of 8000. Early days still but cannot fault the start to the season. It is clear the coaches have started to gel a team and whilst nowhere near perfect it's a nice time to support the team.
