Cant say this is the best scheme ever, really looks cheap, even down to the doors used.

What & where is this? It's not a stunner. I assume the photo is distorted too, either that or it's been built by cowboys!

This type of architecture is popping up all over the bay and it needs to stop in my opinion. Who on Earth thinks plonking great metal sheds on top of brick buildings looks good!?

I actually think the much darker metal on Cardiff Pointe looks pretty descent, this however doesn't work. I'm also frankly a little outraged how little like the renders the exterior walk ways look.

What happened to the stickey out bits, the coloured class the feature at the top, you know the stuff the added a little bit of interet to the design. The fact the render shows the glass as having no frames proves it was being deliberately misleading.

Indeed, someone posted this today on another forum, looks like things are moving with it at long last.

First time I've seen this artist's impression. I'm not sure if the plans have been changed, but it'll be a welcome improvement to the current eyesore.

Some student accommodation we might have overlooked:

Cardiff Student Village (phase one) is an exceptional development, comprising of 249 studio apartments. The fully furnished studios feature a fitted kitchen and an en-suite shower room, with a reception area and a laundry room. The central location of the development makes it extremely accessible from the universities with; Cardiff Metropolitan University just 0.60 miles and Cardiff University 1.38 miles from the site. Cardiff Student Village is also a remarkable opportunity for investors to invest in an off-plan student development that’s situated within one of the UKs most active student cities.
