I'm looking forward to Central Square and the rest being finished.

Recent studies have shown there is little genetic difference between the English and Welsh. What the studies showed was that Anglo saxon, like Norman French after it, became the predominant language of the upper echelons of society and took hold as the main language.

And now Welsh is the chosen language of the upper echelons of Welsh society. An empire will often choose a minority to rule its client state, for example the Sikhs in Punjab or the Afro-Guyanese in Guyana, in the case of the British Empire.

Divide and rule innit. And frankly, my dear Jantra, I couldn't give a damn.

Your personal opinions aside, media has been a big success story for Cardiff over the last few years and it seems to be growing with the new Bad Wolf production studios in the Bay announced recently. The BBC and Pinewood et al have also brought high quality jobs plus all the associated support functions.

You're wrong there I'm afraid. Studies show that north Walians and south Walians have more genetic difference than Scots and English. People from south Pembrokeshire are a different lot again. But there was a lot of intermarrying and crossbreeding between the Welsh and the Anglo Saxons too.

What a load of nonsense. As a Welsh speaker, you will find that jobs that are Welsh essential almost always have something to do with the language. You're not going to be a Welsh teacher or translator or S4C producer if you're not a Welsh speaker.

Also, it pisses me right off that English-speaking Welsh people moan about Welsh but have never got off their arse to fight for anything. You let HTV disappear with no protest, English-language programmes like Belonging etc go without a fuss. Where is your passion? We've had to fight and fight and fight and fight to get anywhere. Perhaps it's time you stood up for your culture and language - you might actually get somewhere.

I will dig out the report - its about 3 months old - that says the replacement of brythonic with Anglo saxon created the nation of England and not the replacement of one people with another. Just like the celts who adopted roman language and customs, the Britons adopted the angeln language and customs. Likewise the Anglo saxons adopted Norman French after them.

In fairness, what corporate badging has been placed on the BT building? I can't see any noticeable signage at height. Unlike say the Admiral HQ. People in Cardiff know the building for what is is, but how would someone from outside know by looking at it?

Yes you are right there is no branding visible from the station.

I've been ploughing this nationalist furrow for so long, it gets very tiring. There's me and the master, Dic Mortimer, and not really many others banging the drum. He's worked elements of me into his latest blog, his first fiction piece, which I heartily recommend.

Plaid Cymru are compromised, infiltrated and sold out. I'm moving to a new branch of Plaid - Penarth - so I might meet up with Jantra at a meeting if he rejoins.

Mr Blue Sky

Thanks for the invite but my fleeting interest in politics is long gone.
