But It would be great to have an update on whether we should continue to look forward to this exciting Tower, or officially put it in the pie in the sky folder where it can snuggle up to the glass needle!

The gates were open today and some men on site with digger. Shan't get hopes up on this but something is happening, I guess its just a question of what! Anyone got any knowledge on this one? Welsh water have done their work outside the site so it didn't seem to be anything to do with them.

Whatever they are up to they'll be back tomorrow as the digger has been left there overnight. If I get a chance in the morning or lunchtime I might be cheeky and pop along and ask. It's a tiny digger though, site clearing maybe? I thought there'd be a revised planning app going in before we saw anything else.

There was a recent discharge of conditions on this tower that was approved.

I talked to a bloke on site this morning. They have to drill a few holes, something related to the raikway lines before development can start?

I don't think he was overly familiar with the project in terms of it being built as per the current plans or if there's going to be a new planning application, so not the right person to talk to unfortunately. He did say they were waiting for the go ahead today, but that might just be for the drilling.

Well investigated! - maybe this chap is just fulfilling a duty in his job and is not as enthusiastic as some of us about what happens next!! - some people are weird Still perhaps a level of activity in and around the site is reason for us to be hopeful that this is moving in the right direction? Come on spill the beans - someone out there....

Looks like this one is definitely happening, but we will not see the superstructure going up until the middle of next year

27 August 2021 is the proposed completion date. Seems so long away but I keep forgetting now tall this building will be.
