New tower of glass opposit the golden cross

Watkins jones are advertising for an assistant quantity surveyor for the Cardiff office on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/WatkinJonesGroup/
They say that the position is to help with the two exciting developments that will be changing the Cardiff skyline.
So to me that sounds like good news.

And that was posted only a few days ago... Hopefully it's good news then!

So do we think this tower is actually going to happen? 135 meters is gargantuan for ANY city in the South West of the UK.

There is going to be a meeting between key stakeholders in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we should have more details then regarding the future of this project. Will provide further updates when I can.

On the other hand it could be good news!! ever the optimist that's me - I even fancy Cardiff City to sneak into the playoffs!!

Anyway I really hope this project doesn't disappear - it would be so good for our improving skyline and Cardiffs very own 'super skinny skyscraper'! - all the trend in New York nowadays

I really hope this gets the go ahead. With this and Bridge street, it could pave the way for more tall developments in the city. If we are serious about Cardiff becoming an international and vibrant city, this is it
