When I first heard this rumour I wasn't particularly bowled over, but on reflection I agree with Simon and in fact think it's the best move ever made at the centre. Its occupying an MSU that has been in and out of negotiation from the word go and its about time such a prominent unit is filled.
And as for their current unit, I don't think St. Davids will have any trouble filling it. The Hayes is evidently an in-demand store location, so this could be very exciting. I like the thought of Zara taking that unit. Zara would really suit the size and location, plus the Queen Street store is so run down, it' s slightly embarrassing. Zara are spending so much money on their UK stores right now (Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham) however the Cardiff store hasn't been touched since opening.
Good news this one!
