


Here's a few photos from Capital Quarter. One shows they are putting decent cladding on the front of number 2 (I especially like the shiny red panels which are just starting to appear). So at least the Tyndall Street frontage will look good.
The sides and back look to be getting the same treatment as number 1. I guess that's a reflection of the location of the development (not prime) and the fact that it is being built speculatively (meaning costs need to be managed).
The other two photos confirm that the new tower crane is indeed for the multi storey car park.
Incidentally, the ground floor unit on number 1 is available to let for A3 use. Can't see this being let until at least the student accommodation is built and there've been a few more lettings in the upper floors and in number 2.
Apologies for the photos being side on and upside down. For some reason I can't use built-in Microsoft photo software to rotate images taken on my phone (unless someone can explain how) and the amount of faffing involved in uploading them to the web made me lose the will to live!! Will make sure I take upright photos next time
